New Releases, 27 July 2010

Oh, we got some great stuff lined up for you this week, I can't even believe that these movies are going to be on our shelves in a MATTER OF DAYS!!!  If you begin to hyperventilate as you read the descriptions, just remember to breathe into a paper bag and then get down here and rent them immediately.

CLASH OF THE TITANS
Pitch-perfect update of the stop-motion classic (also in our library), this one has heroic heroes, flying horses and angry, vengeful Gods
Review     Trailer

REPO MEN
Has nothing to do with the Emilio Estevez Repo Man. This one is about Jude Law and Forrest Whitaker taking peoples organs in a not-so-distant future...
Review     Trailer

THE ART OF THE STEAL
Fantastic documentary about how the city of Philadelphia managed to scuttle a wealthy collector's will after his death, to get its hands on his unparalleled collection of art.  Played Ragtag, well worth a watch
Review     Trailer

VINCERE
Wildly acclaimed foreign film about Mussolini's crazy mistress, or something along those lines.
Review     Trailer

OPERATION ENDGAME
I don't think this one's about chess.

MISSING LYNX
Antonio Banderas' voice stars in this new animated flick

NEIGHBOR
This photo has nothing to do with the film, which is a horror movie that is not particularly well-represented online.

Now put the paper bag down slowly, get in your car/bicycle/rascal mobility scooter and get on down!
